In Japan, the MGS4 bundle does include a limited edition steel colored PS3 and DualShock 3, but it doesn't sound like this edition is coming here to the States though.

as a poor college student i cant justify spending $500 on anything right now....:51smile:
not only will it be $500 but whenever I get around to getting mine I'm going to upgrade the hard drive right off the bat so it'll end up in the $700 range for me.
The PS2 has been going strong for 7 1/2 years now. If the PS3 can equal that and it looks to me like it will be able to then I don't really consider it a bad investment. The PS3 just has so many capabilities. When they finally start releasing quality games the system will be a force.
What I want to play...
Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, God of War. These games in PS3 will be pretty effing cool.
Since I already own a 60GB PS3, I just recently pre-ordered 2 Dual Shock 3's and will have to save up for MGS4. Good deal though.
Only a couple of weeks away!!!
I'm so giddy with anticipation my head might explode.

It's probably going to be an awesome game....but I can't forgive them for ****ing up one of the greatest characters.
Metal Gear Solid was great. Snake was a true badass and the story was straightforward. Bad guys have huge walking nuclear tank, you defeat the tank. Simple.
Sons of Liberty started out good but you ended up spending most of the time as f'ing Raiden, and by the time you reached the end the story started sucking pretty hard. The Patriots? Puh-lease.
Snake Eater was at least something of a return to MGS, and even though you weren't technically Snake, it was pretty close.
With the latest one, you're some scraggly-ass old man version of Snake. WTF? Does he get up three times a night to piss?
So between the four games you're the badass Snake only about 25% of the time. Maybe I'm grasping at straws, but I think they blew it with this series.
