Damn, that's fast. I've played for three hours and haven't gotten past the first few introductory areas yet. But then again I've replayed them a bunch, just playing around with all the things you can do. LOVE the CQC. Got the militia members to be my friends. Driving the Mk II around just looking at all the **** going on. Really enjoying it so far.

I've killed quite a few, just messing around. The militia really likes it when you help them out. Things like holding up the PMC's at gunpoint and patting them down is awesome. Choking them and stuffing them in lockers is fun. I set one guy on fire with a petrol bomb he didn't see coming. I have not set out a playboy yet - I don't like to share my porn with other dudes.

As far as those speed runs go - people always seem to like doing those kind of things. As an example - 5 hour runs in RE4, knife only. Those aren't normal people. They're just doing it to see if they can do it - and probably too much mountain do. And they ALWAYS have already beaten the game many times - mapping out strategies and lines. Bandit's post " I still find it fundamentally flawed that you pay $60 for a game that you can beat in less than 5 hours on the hardest difficulty if you just skip the cut scenes though." implies somewhat that it could be done on a first play through (I know he didn't say that) and that's just not the case.

So far, this game is outstanding and it's worth taking your time to get through. I thought about calling in sick to work just to play it - and I haven't felt that way about a game in while.

I agree. I'm still on Act II and I already can't wait to play Act I again without killing anyone. :wootrock:

just got the package, the game and system are incredible! As a MGS geek im trying to be true to the game and be stealthy but its too much damn fun killing everyone

It so damn hard not to kill anyone. I killed 32 people in the first act. I guess I shouldn't have blown up those helicopters. I think I'm gonna do like Mr. I and go back and try and kill less.

I'm probably going to try for the Big Boss Emblem on my 2nd play through

I just barely started the final act so I guess I have a ways to go
