PS3 and internet speeds insight please
Ok, i've recently moved back to my parents house after college (thanks crippled economy). Now i'm having horrible connectivity issues when trying to play NHL10 on our LGK club team.
I currently have Verizon 1.0mbps DSL speed and under the "Connection List" under Network settings in the PS3 menu it says my network fluctuates between 90-97% connection to the router.
Ok, what internet speeds are everyone else rocking? what connecion % we got with u?
I'm trying to eliminate variables from DSL service, to my older router, to location of my PS3.
Thanks guys...and sorry for leaving games lately. It's been unbearable lately.

Money's been really tight the last year and I've been using neighbor's connections wirelessly. My connection is usually 35-40% and for the most part it's been working great the last few months. How can you get a 90% connection and still be lagging? Mine's not even half the strength of yours lol

how can be lagging w/ 90% connection?? Thats exactly my point! I really need to know what speed internet you guys are using, as I guess 90% of 1mbps might be less than 40% of say a ridiculous T1 type speed.
I'm trying to figure out where the culprit is: EA network, router, internet speed from provider, ps3:
THIS SUCKS

It might be the fault of our fellow team members or the other Club team connection speed as well which contributes to death to flow on NHL10. It would be nice to positively point a finger.

The PS3 has an internet browser - use it to find a speedtest and see what results you're getting.
