Over here on the Xbox360 side, we have faced too many cheaters. I don't know if these same cheats/glitches are on the PS3, but it's getting out of hand.

I don't know about glitches but if we're too slow getting back on D, the computer controlled players suck against the deep cross-crease pass.

I think our record (which I haven't contributed much to except losses) is 215-105-6

We have to do an email campaign or something to fix the online gameplay patch. So many penalties for any contact makes the game no fun.

let's get used to it and see what happens. we'll adapt. just have to make sure that you always have vision control down when in close and trying to shoot a loose puck (I think that has you shoot the puck instead of hitting someone).

btw, I'd be more than happy to try out goalie if we have a 6 man situation like last night.

I'm on around 10:30pm and on, usually so are the other guys.

I'm usually a late-night guy, I think I already have you added Palffy.

I don't mind the outrageous amount of penalties called, I just think it's too much other than for the hardcore players. So unless you're a nut, the game is no fun without the occasional dirty hit.
I can play clean or dirty but the sheer lack of physicality with the new patch makes everything a bit more mundane and boring.


In the big picture, they're trying to make it a lot more like the "real" NHL game and to get rid of cheap plays but even the real NHL isn't as strict against the hitting.
I also think the current NHL is a little "soft" now with the new rules already, I don't want to play a video game like that all the time.
