Well I umm...don't know what to say at this point. I'll wait to see how things turn out, lol.
I think we need some team captains. We need somebody to say what we need to get better at or what we are doing wrong. I remember when I first started playing with Max in Nhl 09, I was going into the zone with him & I would want to pass right as we enetered their zone. Just to have the D-men poke it out or intercept my pass and then we would be caught up ice just to have the other team do a Cheese goal on us. He told me "to hold it longer into the zone before I made the pass" Well it took me a couple games but I tried it & it worked. I would take it into the zone make the pass closer to the goal where we would get an easy one timer. I will be gettting a headset hopefully this Friday. Its also a matter of stragedy. I don't use a headset, but when I play with certain players I know most the time where I need to be or where they will be. But its all a matter of trying to get better at what you are messing up on. You also need to make smart decision and be able to read the play. I don't know if you guys do it or not but at intermissions do you go over what needs to be fixed or what we need to do? Like have somebody shadowing their best player who is only looking to Cheese or having somebody always cover their point man if he is killing us from the blue line with slapshots. I blame that on me not having a heaset. I sent Jon a PM a couple days ago because I was noticing certain things that he was doing that was messing up our flow into the zone. The next time I played with him he wasn't doing it anymore or as often and it helped a lot. Let me know what you guys think. I know on my part I have to do better on faceoffs and use a body check rather then a poke check near our own goal because I have been guilty of missing the poke check or poking it into our own goal.lol

Another thing that we can do is adapt to how the other team is attacking or defending us. Again, I need a headset I know. If we go into their zone and they are collapsing we can't keep trying the same play across the crease. (I am guilty of it also) that is when we have to use our D-men more (Max,Ben or Kwan). I know at times they block our shots from the points but we have to keep trying in order for them to pay more attention to you guys so we can have more room near their goal. I see teams collapse 4 guys near the goal and they are using their sticks or laying on the ice and it leaves us no room to make a pass. Shoot it wide on purpose if you have to. I see teams doing that and somebody deflects it in like 4 ft away from the goalie. If you can think of anything else post it or once I have my headset we need more communication(that is if we don't already have it since I dont have one) and we need to let people know in a good way what they need to improve or things we see that they have to change like bad habits going into the zone. If the player cares about the team he will change it. The problem is just not people complaining, its also each person individully that needs to try to improve. If your doing something every game that is not working STOP and try something else. Certain things only work on certain teams, if not please try something else. I remember that I used to play like Be A Pro too much but I had to practice either on the community online team play or in the main menu where your one on one with the goalie. How do you think I can deke the goalie most of the time on breakways.lol

Yes because not everybody enjoys playing with everybody.
Nope, you will simply be told politely that I prefer to play with others.
No, it's honest and civil.
Was only a matter of time. Believe me, this has been a long time coming. And hopefully this improves the experience for everyone.
Typical Jon lol. "Im gonna do whatever I want whenever, I want." It's how you've always played this game. Honestly man, there are guys on here that don't mind yer outlook on the game and that's great. I'm not one of them...which I guess is obvious at this point.
But don't worry man, this won't really affect you that much. I'm prolly the only one who will practice this, and I only really get to play during regular peak hours on the weekends.

Dave why do I think you using a headset would actually HURT our chemistry? LOL.
You think it would hurt our chemistry?lol
I have never used a headset before. why? I would talk to much?lol
I miss Edit on the headset complaining about the game. When he and KLF were on the mics I was almost in tears every time from laughing so hard.
D- You are too reasonable haha. One thing I think we should practice is passing back to the D-men if the forwards can't get into the offensive zone. I don't think it's something that should be done every time, since the other team will probably catch on and intercept the puck, but it could work for a dump in or occasional letting me or Kwan finding the open spot to get in. As for Jon, I think the only problem with his game right now is the offsides. Dude needs to learn timing on that part. and also the stupid penalties, but me, Ben, and Kwan are all guilty of that too. Especially me haha. Edit and D, I think when you 2 are together, you look for the cross crease pass waaaaay too much lol. I know there aren't tons of options a lot of the time, but as a team we really need to work on using the cpu to our advantage. They can shoot too lol. One thing I still don't understand, is how Edit gets the puck from the opposing team's cpu on the forecheck. I can't do it at all and it sucks, because my forecheck has been pretty good.
Also for forwards, when we shoot and the other team's goalie makes a save, hold R1 and stand right in front of him so your stick swings side to side. I've been doing that lately and it's been causing lots of turnovers when they call for the puck.
