Dude if you think that I have a problem using cpu players then I don't know what to tell you. I guaruntee you most of the goals scored by the cpu on rebounds in front of the goalie are because Me/Dave/Kwan/KLF/SOMEONE was mashing down on R1.
Me and KLF used to jokingly argue over who should get credit for the cpu goals "I called for that! I called for that!" ...ahh memories.
The insinuation that somehow I am this selfish player all of a sudden is frustrating. My assists are DOUBLE that of my goal totals and I have the 2nd best plus minus average on the team.

when we play with 2, Paul is always making sick passes to the CPU on the far side of the goalie.
Maxy now that I know you were unaware of the R1 trick, I encourage you to go back and re-read my original post about using dmen, and cpu players and calling for the shot...and I think/hope you'll realize we are on the same page.
And it should be even sweeter now that you can make yer cpu mates shoot when you want them to instead of waiting/hoping for them to shoot! I see our team scoring about to improve!

I will be on after the game and I will be working on all of the suggestions/criticism.

David- ok maybe it was Ben, then. Sorry, I have short term memory loss and when I read this thread I have no recollection of half of what you guys are talking about lol.
Kwan- R2 is passing so I don't know how that's possible lol.
Ok, read more posts on the next page (this page) and apparently R1 is "calling for shots." All I've ever done is hold L2 and the shoot button down to make the cpu shoot on a one-timer. I have never heard of the R1 thing (obviously,) and I wish somebody here would've been more informant (not saying it's anyone's job, don't take it that way.) I'm not calling Paul a selfish player, because he's not. There's just certain aspects of everyone's game I wish everyone would improve on and I don't think it's wrong of me to say how I see it through my eyes. If anything, I'm the most selfish player. I like taking point shots too often and I always want the hat trick after I scored my second goal.
I'm sure by now I've made myself look like a jerk and a drama queen, but that's not what I'm trying to do. This game just frusterates the **** out of me and I end up ranting on here every other week, lol.
My God, really can't believe I didn't know about the R1 thing. I think I remember it when NHL 09 first came out, but I totally forgot about it by the time I moved and started playing online more. My bad Paul.

R1 is call for shot when the AI has the puck. It took me forever to figure out one timers in 09 because I kept using R1 to tell the computer to shoot (and no, it doesn't do one timers, it just does a wrist shot). when I finally found the stick for AI one timers, that totally changed my ability to put up points.
I turned on, but I'm falling asleep at the computer right now. being up at 5:30am gets to me right about now.
