I agree with some of what you said Kwan, especially about the personal fun factor. But somehow I had more fun in 09 despite being cheesed on every game. We haven't got cheesed yet in 10, but the game is so slow and boring that I feel like I wasted 60 dollars. Why the hell does it take your players 30 seconds to get from one end of the ice to the other? Why can't you pass to someone right in front of you? Seriously, I have no idea what they were going for in this game. I thought they were going for realism, but any real NHL players would be making these passes and scoring on wide open nets. They should just named the game GHL 10, as in Grandpa Hockey League 2010...because that's what these players all feel like...old NHL players who have their best years behind them.
And wtf were they thinking selling DLC? Thanks for letting rich Canadian kids boost up while the rest of us have to play 2000 games in BAP and score 4000 points just to get a better helmet...stupid.

We got killed by dyvps and edit last night...they worked the puck so much better. Like D said earlier in the thread, you really need to get those point shots. He was a center and still shot close to the point and set up a couple nice goals. He still has that crazy backhanded move he did in 09...edit was good too, as expected. I really didn't expect ben and I to lose like that, especially thanks to some lame penalties. Had Kwan been on for that game, I think it would've been closer (obviously), but you guys still would've won because your puck work was good. It was only 4-1, but it felt like a lot more lol.
Kwan and I had one more game after ben left last night, I scored a sweet goal off a pass from Kwan or the other defender after I won a faceoff in the offensive zone. Other team scored and our goalie was still doing pretty good. Went into ot...almost double ot...but we won thanks to Kwan's point shot, with me and the AI mashing our sticks at the puck, but the AI got the goal (bastard.)
I love playing C in this game, suits me so much better than D I think. I didn't like forward so much in 09, but I'm better at it in 10. In like 5 out of 7 or 8 games the last couple nights, I have dominated in faceoffs. I lose most of the ones I lose because my controller is so ****ed up and the analogs stick like crazy...so my player automatically tries to take the faceoff without me moving it sometimes.
What I learned last night is once again, we need more shots from the point...especially from Kwan because he kept picking the perfect spots to give us an opportunity to score. I also got a bunch of crazy attribute boosts and equipment last night I guess from playing, which is cool.

It was actually a pretty close game...the penalties in the 2nd and 3rd periods changed things. Remember it was a 1-1 tie after 1.
