Thread: PS3 NHL 11 Talk

I was pretty bad myself. It sucks having to earn everything again. My other player is so good and my new one is pretty bad, lol.

Man I suck soo bad at this game lol. I can never catch up to the puck and get owned all the time. I need to master the controls I guess, but my players are always far away and the teams are scoring way too much on me :(

Had my first 5min major and ejection from a club game. Got to watch from the box for half the game, haha. Great win though!

You know we are doing REALLY good this season, we are 10-4-2(?) and are in the ELITE league! GO TEAM!!!

When we get a full team (minus goalie) playing and not allow the AI to mess things up we don't do too badly. For me as usually our only D, it's nice to have a D partner.

Our passing plays and puck movement are getting better and slowly we'll all be getting more attribute points and boosts too.
I think I have the most games played on the club and only have 90 of them.

Starting to feel like our team play is clicking well.
I still have to curb my aggressiveness on D at times.

I was a -7 on Monday.....now i'm a +9! That one game where i had 9 shots..... that was just unbelievable...goalie was stopping EVERYTHING. We are doing alot better with the passing and timing. Sometimes when Kosher's not playing, i have to go down low to defend because the AI defense always does something stupid, and because of this i end up overcrowding the crease.

Can't wait for my superstar card, 10 more games. Then I can add a few more to my passing rating as I now go WTF!? a few times a game when there's a wide open guy and the puck goes off to the side of him.

My passes bouncing off of sticks and skates are still an issue too but that's becoming less and less of one. Probably because I'm passing too hard when you guys are too close and our associated attribute ratings aren't always up to the task.

As a D, I've had to learn a lot of little tricks to get the pucks up the ice...tape-to-tape passes, passes off the boards, shot-passes, lob-passes and combination's of the above. Good stuff.
