Mass Effect, Fable 2, Lost Odyssey, Halo 3, Viva Pinata, Forza 2 are better than the exclusive PS3 games (Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Gran Turismo 5-Prologue) I played.

The only one I finished, and what a convoluted mess of a story that was on PS3, was MGS4.

I am buying Uncharted 2 because of the hype and I want something to play on my PS3 this fall.

Mass Effect isn't exclusive (PC). Thought Fable 1 was god awful so I had no interest in Fable 2 but I know a lot of people like it. Not interested at all in Lost Odyssey or Viva Pinata. IMO the Halo games are some of the most overrated games ever. And I don't play racing sims so I'll take your word for it on Forza 2. Additionally, Gears 2 is the biggest piece of tedious asinine crap I ever played. What a total letdown after Gears 1 (which is also not a 360 exclusive (PC)).

I do think Left 4 Dead is awesome, but then again, that's not an exclusive either (PC).

So yes, I MUCH prefer Killzone 2, Resistance 1 & 2(meh), Infamous, MGS4, LBP, and Uncharted 1 & (hopefully) 2 to all the games you mentioned.

Yes, I like the PS3 controller better. Just personal preference on that one. Not that I think the 360 controller is garbage, it's fine, and I like that I can plug it into my PC to play some games.

I find the Xbox 360 interface clumsy and I don't like seeing advertisements every time I start it up so...
But wait! You can play dress up with your avatar! That's super awesome!!!!!!!!!! I'll take custom backgrounds instead.

And since you've only finished one PS3 game makes me wonder if you've given any PS3 game an honest chance. No doubt since you're gonna buy Uncharted 2 based just on HYPE you won't finish that one either.

I know it looks like I'm bashing the 360 but I'm not. I think that console wars are for 13 year old bedwetters. The 360 is great, I just prefer the PS3. Just like you prefer the 360. No big deal. There's enough room in my entertainment center for both and have enjoyed both a great deal.

About Interface... The PS3 interface is just uninspiring and not fun at all. The icons are way too small and there is a lot of empty space. I see they are doing some updates to it. It looks like they are going in the right direction and they are adding avatars. Video Games are supposed to be fun. Whatever you think about avatars, they add to the fun factor.

About FPSs... I had a FPS and 3D motion sickness problem and still do with some games. But Halo 3 was the first game that I did not have any problems. It is really bad on a PC, so I don't play FPS on PC.

About Finishing Games... I stopped playing Uncharted 1 because I started feeling queezy at the boat sequence. I stopped playing LBP because I couldn't get pass a point and didn't feel like doing it over and over. I never was that good at platformers anyway.

I hope Uncharted 2 keeps my interest and I finish it but I won't feel bad if I don't.

I really want to like the PS3, but there just aren't enough exclusives that interest me to make me want to buy it.

As far as pros and cons go, you forgot to add that the PS3 doesn't implode on a regular basis.

Yeah Nasti, I am on my 2nd or is it 3rd? 360.

So far so good although the DVD drive sounds like a jet. But I am kind of disappointed in the PS3 noise. I thought in would be quieter. I heard the PS3 Slim uses 30% less energy than PS3 fat. That probably makes it quieter to.

Sorry to hear about the motion sickness. That blows. (Sucking on a ginger candy might help?) I did notice that your list had a bunch of RPG's on it so you might dig Valkyrie Chronicles, Disgaea or the upcoming White Knight Chronicles. I haven't played any of those but my brother, who was big into rpg's, played the **** out of Disgaea.

And you'll be happy to hear they did increase the size of the fonts. My eyes suck so that was a welcome change.

And that sucks about your loud PS3. Sounds like you got a bad one. Lucky for me mines pretty quiet.

I think the loudness of the PS3 depends on how hot it is. At one point I had mine (fat) sitting flat in my entertainment center and at times it got really loud. Now I have it standing up outside the center on it's own with plenty of circulation and it's much quieter and cooler now.
