Thread: PS3 Slim!!!!

The Ring of Death is th reason why I would never get an XBox 360. Who needs the aggrovation of getting it fixed regularly?

i had mine for over 2 years and never had that problem..BUT..... the graphics chip exploded and so i was NOT going to spend a 100 for a repair on that when GOD KNOWS if they would actually replace that chip or if they'd just "fix" the one already inside it, not to mention the fact that it can take a whole month for the process. Now i have both the 360(a 200 dollar arcade one with my elite's 120 GIG hard drive) and a ps3 slim so i'm not complaining

That right there is why I'm a little skeptical about Microsofts Xbox360 sales numbers. Just how many have been sold to replace ones that no longer work and weren't under warranty/too expensive to repair?

I was tempted at Target last night. They had it in stock and the complete Rock Band setup too. My wife was all "Get it!!" and I was the one like, "Let's think about it".

Wait until 9/9/9 and get the kick-ass Beatles:Rock band bundle. It will work with all the other music games, bit it looks much cooler.

Now I'm nearly convinced!

Just get the regular Rock Band 2 (make sure you get 2 because the instruments are wireless) then buy John Lennon's Gretsch guitar separate (100 bucks) and the game.

Might get the PS3 slim just for the Blu Ray player
