Thread: Socom 4

Does anyone own it yet? Have you been able to try out the multiplayer mode? Just rented this game from redbox and so far (since PSN has been down all day) I'm loving the controls on the single player campaign mode and the graphics aren't too shabby either.

I was a big fan of socom 2, i read that they were trying to make the new game into an fps? and focus more on multiplayer than the campaign. If anyone was into the older games let me know if this game is as good or better.

Socom 1 was probably my favorite online multi-player, ever. I basically flushed the entire summer of 2003 down the toilet playing that game for hours on end. So much fun.

Had store credit from gamestop so got it today along with Mortal Kombat. I am liking socom but I have to get use to the controls a bit . The graphics are pretty good too.. I will post more info once I play the game a bit more.
