Seriously OP, you need to just pull that bad boy out of the entertainment console while you're using it, then just replace it when you're done. Ventilation is everything. Mine's sitting above my TV stand, 4 feet away from anything else that could possibly give off heat. Crammed in there, doors open or not, it's going to fry again. Here's hoping you eliminated those damn things for now, though.

Oh well...it happened again. The towel trick let me watch a movie off my flash drive and that was it...back to the RROD. I decided to call it in instead of doing another towel trick.

My question is...have any of you guys sent your 360 in for warranty repair and if so did you manage to get a HDMI version of a 360 in return? I got my 360 in April of 2006 so HDMI wasn't available then. I'm just hoping that I get a little lucky.
