Sonic the Hedgehog 4

Is anybody else happy this came out? I don't have the money to buy it right now, but I played the demo and I am so happy they went back to the 2D side scrolling gameplay. I was obsessed with Sonic when I was younger, but as I got older, the games got worse. Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 both were good, but the rest of the 3D games were horrible. Also, Sonic Adventure was put up last week on PSN (which I also want to purchase.) If anyone ends up buying Sonic 4, let me know how it is.

they added the homing attack from the 3d games, controls are a little sloppy but overall reminiscent of old school sonic

I agree with the controls being sloppy and I'm not a fan of the homing attack either. It does give it the old "retro" feel from the original games but I don't get feel of the speed from the originals though.
