Default Star Ocean: The Last Hope (International)

So, just grabbed this new JRPG now that I've done the main stuff in FFXIII.
It's been a pretty cool series over the years and this is no exception.
Much more of a traditional RPG, it isn't as linear as FFXIII...it has more expansive maps and towns...much more dialog with NPC's...you have to refresh your status after every fight.

Not as flashy as FFXIII graphically.
The best thing though is getting to use the Japanese Language track.
Makes the characterization so much better. This is only available on the PS3 "International" version though.

Only about 5 hrs in so far...

About 50hrs in and it's still holding my interest. A decent chunk of the time was side quests and leveling up.
I don't know how much longer is left in the game but it's a pretty good story.
Again, the Japanese Dialog is great.

Yeah, the PS3 has the "International" version with the Japanese Dialog.
From what I hear there are also a few console specific treasures.
