while it might be fun, I don't see myself paying a monthly fee for gaming.

Almost all of the major, AAA status MMOs, yes. But micro-transaction and free-to-play models are gaining more and more steam throughout the genre, and I'm not so sure monthly fees will be such an automatic over the next few years. That said, I think I'll stick to my f2p Lord of the Rings Online over this one. Thousands of l33t jediz and b0unty hunt3rz running around wil probably ruin what little fondness I still have for the SW universe.

gonna pick this up too. been waiting for close to 2 years or so for this to come out... im actually re-playing Kotor II right now.

but for this game im probably gonna be an imperial agent/sniper

I want to preorder it, but the website made it confusing as to whether or not it was compatible with MAC.
I don't see why it wouldn't be...but I'm not certain.
