An old roommate and I would play Street Fighter II and Mario Kart for hours and hours on end. We would only take breaks to go get Super Big Gulps from 7-11 and hotdogs then have at it for another few hours. When he and I weren't working at our crappy minimum wage jobs raking in $4.15/hour we were playing that goddam thing to death.
I bought a SNES a few years ago so I could play SF2 and MK. The friggin games were more than the system was.
What does that tell you about the quality of these games?
They were easily the two best games of that generation.
If you like Mario RPG you'll love it.
It's a pretty rare game though. I have it up for auction and it's getting some nice bids.

Is any of this stuff available on the Wii download service? I never had a chance to own an SNES. I've got the NES and the N64, though.
Ill go with Sega Genesis. We used to have about 6 of us that would have football tournies on weekends. We would all pick a team and stick with that same team for the duration. I was the Eagles....Randall Cunningham would make great plays but get one sack and out came the ambulance.
The NHL games were fun as well. We would do the practice game and have one guy play as Roy and two others would go against him. Good times.
This should help FBJ.

SNES rocks but I still love the NES more. I'm sure it's the magic of nostalgia
