Thread: Vanquish

I think this one got overlooked by a lot of people but it may just be the most fun I've had playing a video game this year.

A third person shooter like Uncharted or Gears of War but very fast paced. The cut scenes can get over the top and cheesy at times but that added to the fun. The controls and shooting/cover mechanics work great and there is a ton of **** going on.

Sure there is things to complain about if one were so inclined but I found them all to be forgivable just because I enjoyed the gameplay so much.

It's available for PS3 and Xbox 360 and demos can be downloaded on each platform. SP only and the campaign is a little short (but very replayable) so try and look for a deal on it.

I got the demo and it's on my list after I finish Splinter Cell Conviction (which is also a kick butt game).

Sega needs to work on marketing these weird but fun titles.
