Your point would be valid, if not all games at this point had an RPG timesink style to them. Black Ops, you have to level up in order to earn the better guns and perks so you can battle against higher level players online....yes you can pause and resume the single player, but just like an MMORPG, you have to level up online to get the nicer equipment....hmmmm sounds just like WoW or any other RPG right?

Sports games are a different breed, you can play once or all night long, just depends how much you enjoy the game and time you want to devote. But even still they all have different aspects you can unlock, player cards, teams, players, whatever, that involve you investing countless hours completing the objectives set out for you...hmmmmm objectives to unlock items? Sounds just like another style of RPG set inside a sports game.

It all comes down to the user and how you want to play the game, and that goes for any game out there. Calling someone a nerd because they play WoW, while you are trying to grind our prestige in Black Ops not only makes you a hypocrite, but stupid as well.

And no, I wasn't calling you stupid, just those that make blanket statements, NOT YOU!!!!
