Thread: Wii - games for kids

Getting a Wii for Christmas for my 7, 5, and 2 year old girls. What games should I get?

I already own a 360 which I love. My 5 year old will play Lego games with me. The 7 year old not as much. 2 year old will watch.

Mario Galaxy, Spiderman, backyard football, you can't go wrong with any of them. We have had it for three years and my kid still plays with it all the time and he is now 8.

Every single game you can think of.

Mario is always a safe bet. You can go with Kirby's Epic Yarn, you can't game over in that game, so it should be great for kids.

Then there are tons of party games which gets old fast if you're playing alone. But if all the kids are playing, I'm sure you can get lots of hours out of it.

go, I've got 2 girls, 4 & 6. Some Wii games they love are Mario Kart, Super Mario Bros., Star Wars Legos and Dora & The Ice Princess. There are a couple of others, but I need time to think of them.

ice princess? So paul kariya got a wii game? All jokes aside this list is perfect imho

My 4 year old loves New Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Galaxy. Toy Story Mania is a hit among other kids, but mine doesn't care for it - same with Wii Sports.

I'm not really sure since most of my non sports games are rated T or M. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games gives you a lot of exercise so it's good for kids.

Just Dance I and II.





I have three girls that about the age of your girls and they love it. If your girls like to dance around when music is on or when some TV show is playing music then I suspect they will love it as well.

What kind of crap is that? Figured a OG Punk would only allow "Let's Pogo" or "Let's Mosh" into their household. Pffft!

Seriously though, My daughter LOVES SM Galaxy both 1 and 2 (and all the Mario series games for that matter), "How to train your Dragon" and The Build a Bear games.

I enjoy the Galaxy games myself so that a plus!
