Wii and Wii stuff.
Santa just bought my 7 year old a Wii. Any suggestions on Wii essential accessories/games? Santa already bought the SMB Wii game. Anything else we need? We like the family, multi player stuff.
I'm tired of the fat man getting all the credit for toys.
Rayman is a pretty fun family game. Rockband. Wii Fit. Mario Kart. You can also download some of the older NES, SNES, SEGA games.
Hmm, for a 7 YO?
- The Lego games are great fun (and you never run out of lives) and can be played 2-players simultaneously (if he needs help in places). I've only played the Batman and Star Wars ones, not Indy.
- Wii Sports is bundled-in so you have that.
- Wii Sports Resort came out earlier this year and includes MotionPlus, which makes the Wiimote more accurate.
I 2nd Mario Kart Wii. Fun game for someone in that age range. It comes with a steering wheel.
Thanks guys, keep em coming.
She's a pretty savvy gamer, even at 7. She's been pounding away on all 3 Viva Pinata games on my 360 for 2 years now. I figured I would get more a family type console before she craps out the xbox.
I'll probably pick up MKart. I had it on Advance a few years back and it was a good fun.
Just realized I can play my old Gamecube games on Wii. THAT ROCKS!!! I can now finish Metroid Prime...lol
I dont want to bombard her with too many games at once because she has a tendency to A.D.D. out and cant focus on one thing at a time.
Are all the tennis racquet, golf club, baseball bat attachments really necessary?
I'm thinking a good rechargeable battery/station is probably in order also. Any suggestions?
all the attachments do is take up space and more effort, more chance of knocking over stuff, they make the remote heavier, etc... just something else to waste money on imo
I was pointed towards Eneloops (by Sanyo) a while ago, and they're fantastic. Rechargeable NiMH and keep their charge longer than normal NiMH. Uses any NiMH charger. Dell.ca always has them for a good price up here (sorry not sure about US).
