WTF did I just buy?? (XBOX 360)

So I just bought a 360 Elite. With all the talk about red rings, crashes, explosions and late night sex with my wife...How does one tell if one has the latest and greatest "guts"?


BTW, I feel lucky. Ive played mine for 7 hours and it hasnt asked for a hand job yet.

Xbox 360 is a fine gaming system. Of course, if I were you I would have bought a PS3, but nonetheless you should still have fun with it.

We bought ours earlier in the month. We finally set it up last week and have been playing Gears of War once our kiddo is asleep. It's been fun. :)

I have all three "next-gen" systems, and love each one for different reasons. Have fun with your 360!!!

The easiest way to tell is if it has an HDMI port... if so, then I think you have the more reliable hardware.

It has the HDMI and I am using it.

I read somewhere that MS was taking older systems with crap processors, heat issues etc. Then adding a few bundle games and reboxing them as "new" units when in actuality, they are old faulty units...in sheeps clothing.

I dunno. Maybe its a bunch of bullschit made up by a Sony douche.


Anywho. Been playing Ace Combat 6 and Cars (my daughter wanted it). Ace is phenomenal. The graphics are impressive at 60". My wife got vertigo and almost ralphed.

I dont however like the stock controller. Its too f ing small for my hands.

Get yourself some Call of Duty 4. That game, as I have discovered over the past 2 days, is the shizzle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It kicks some serious arse and is good times. Hopefully my Gears of War that I won off of ebay comes soon

This such an incredile violationI can guarantee you MS is not doing this, some of your smaller electronics companies might but no one with any money to lose.

Thats a common story salespeople tell customers when they know they can't beat the competition
