Thread: WWE Legends of Wrestlemania

I agree the DLC is a scam... If games weren't so overpriced in the first place, it'd be one thing, but $5 for a couple wrestlers, a new (small) map (Halo, COD, etc), or 4 boring songs (Guitar Hero, Rock Band, etc)?

Haven't heard much about whether they're going to make some extra legends available via DLC for Legends of Wrestlemania... If so, and assuming they're charging (of course they will), they better get the character model and their moves spot on.

Thanks Watti and TooCool. I am sure to get it. When is the only issue. I'll practice on the demo. I agree DLC is a scam. They are only doing it to squeeze as many $$ as they can (as any good capitalist should) until we give up.

No offense but Sid Justice sucks no matter how much he thinks he rules the world. Never liked him..... Your created Sid Justice is pretty damn good though.

heh Actually, I was never too big a fan of his either. I was just messing around in the create modes and ran across his spaghetti hairstyle and stuck with it for a while. I might still fix up his face a bit, but he was pretty easy to make.

I also noticed Demolition's masks and outfits are there, along with enough make-up options to do a pretty good job of them. Considering the masks are there, though, I'm guessing they'll be made available as DLC as somepoint in the future.

I imported the SvR 09 roster, and one week later instead of losing it's appeal has actually gotten more fun... Just discovered there are even sliders buried in the menus to tweak the gameplay.

About SvR09, you can import (almost) all of the wrestlers over, although some of the character models look a little weird, like they're not dark enough or something... Andre the Giant vs King Kong Bundy vs Big Show is fun though. Basically ups the roster to 90 or so playable wrestlers, with all of their entrances, finishers, etc. Definitely worth the cost of a rental.

Regarding the sliders, you can change how quickly the wrestlers fatigue, how often they grapple, the difficulty of the chain attacks, etc. A bunch of stuff. Out of the box, the settings lead to pretty short matches, but you can adjust them to your liking. I prefer much longer matches, but I'm still messing around with the settings to find the best ones.

DiBiase is awesome. I used him in obliterating John Cena in a Hell in a Cell match. Threw him from the top, cut his face up on the cage, slammed him into thumbtacks, etc.

Let me know when you get it and I dare you to try and get past my Mr Perfect and Hart Foundation.
