That's what I figured. Sony actually repaired my PS3 and shipped it back the same day they received it, which was pretty surprising.

Adding it to the list of why the PS3 is better than the 360, damn this list is getting long.

I got the same console back. It took like 2 weeks door to door.

That's not bad. Though two weeks without Red Dead is gonna be tough.

When I sent my 360 in, it took about 8 days from the time i dropped it off at UPS. They sent back the same system. I didn't get a refurb, they actually fixed it.

8 days is pretty good, I'd be cool with that. I guess they have a lot of experience with the RROD by now so it's gotta be an easy fix.

Yeah, I was surprised. I figured it would have been at least 2 weeks. I was cool with 8 days.

The new system is MUCH better and improved.

If you want one, let me know Im cheaper than retail.
