Thread: Xbox 360 NHL 09 Tournament Interest Part 2

Alright, it's time to see if we can get another one of these in, but I need to gauge the interest again.

Based on PMs and responses I've received in various other threads, it seems like we might need to bump up to 16 participants to keep everything even and with no byes... If that is the case, we'll need to stick to some pretty tight guidelines to have any hope of finishing this one. It was tough enough getting 8 people through, so a couple new rules:

-each round will last 1 week and only 1 week. Incomplete series' will be decided by myself simming the remaining games.
-Non-response for 3 days means you're out, so log-in regularly and make sure to keep in contact.
-Red Ring of Death is exactly that, a death sentence. See you at the next tournament.
-probably more to be added... feel free to add suggestions.

I'm going to be sending out a PM to (hopefully) everyone that expressed interest and some others that I regularly see online who might be interested, but everyone's welcome so chime in on this thread so I can see who wants to and who is able to compete in this tournament. I'll have to cut it off at 16 players, because even that would be ridiculous, and preference will have to go to the 8 who played in the last one.

All the but final round will be a best-of-3 series. Each game takes roughly 25-30 minutes to complete, so an hour and a half per week I don't think is too much to ask. If you're not sure if you'll be able to manage that, please don't commit to the tournament.

All that being said, go ahead and post here in this thread that you're interested and list your two preferred teams, one from the East, one from the West.

And one more thing, I get to be the Kings since I'm the reigning champion. That actually bodes well for everyone else, though, since the Kings are pretty crappy in this game.
