I have the 16th off thanks to my new schedule at work, you might not see me as much though thanks to closing a lot more lately. (usually home by 8pm pacific) I'm going to keep my number at #29 this year and not try to move it around as much.

That sucks about your new schedule - the 16th will be cool though. And, since we're adding more players I'm sure somebody will be on when you get home from work. Weekends are a given.

Sloppydog - your request to join the team was granted. I'll try and add the other people when I get home from work. I will be on about 5:45 (PST) if you want to get some games in.

I think that this season if definitely a "learning" one - but this game is still fun as hell to play. Even pick-up games are fun because they are not cheese filled yet. I'm kind of surprised that there have not been more fights/penalties after the whistles though.

I finally finished my German league games to unlock my +3 pass boost - I hope it helps. I think that the main problem with our squad is we are still trying to play the same style we did in 09, and those passes just cannot be made in 10. I think we need to move the puck around the outside more, until we get an open lane for a one timer or a point shot. The majority of the goals I have scored have been rebounds right in front of the net. Not so many pretty goals (at least not yet).

I was also practicing with the equipment and found that the stick with the lowest shot works best (for me) - so others may want to see how it works for them.
