Thread: XBox 360 NHL 10 Thread (EASHL)

I'm proud of our LGK team this month! We are finally winning.

The only thing I hate is that the lamest goal will still go in against us only. Like...

#1 - Terrible shot from the red goal line with ZERO angle, it goes in between the goalies pads as he's standing.

#2 - Weak backhand wrist shots from the faceoff circle that seem to float in over the glove of the goalie.

#3 - Shots from defensemens that bounce off of 3-4 people and goes in the net.

#4 - And who can forget? Computer players scoring on us with ease. It doesn't matter where they shoot it. As long as the other team hits the right bumper to get them to shoot, more often than not, it's going in.

I'm just upset with these because we NEVER get them, but they seem to score on us on their 3rd - 5th shot of the game.

But like I said, we'v been dominating them, outshooting lots of teams by a 3 to 1 ratio this month.

With the above unlocks it should help your player quite a bit, and will help our squad compete better with all the people that purchased their boosts, whom I despise - especially when it's a whole team that has the stuff.

I've been playing BAP on the default difficulty and am almost at 70 points. I don't know if I agree with playing on Rookie just for the boosts. Better than just buying the boosts, but still...

Definitely had our computer defenseman glove down a deflection and THROW the puck into our net last night. I laughed, then I cried, then I looked up how much 2k10 was on the internet.

We have had our own D-Man slap it into our own net several times. When it happens we are all like WTF? And it really sucks when you end up losing by that goal. Hopefully the first patch will fix a lot of the issues with this game. Classic EA - 2 steps forward, and one step back. Oh, and I just love rocking ugly ass camo gear.

If you get 2K10 let us know how it is - we may all jump ship.

Watti and I played a EASHL game yesterday in which we lost 6-1. It was 2 on 2 against the Oilers (big surprise, Canadians!).

They had all the gold crap and were completely untouchable. We couldn't hit them, we couldn't poke check them, or even stick lift them.

One of their guy attempted the wrap around over and over. We couldn't stop his lame attempts because he was untouchable. =\ The goalie could make the save here and there, but there are times where it'd still go 5-hole just like NHL 09.

And when the wrap around is prevented, they do the goal line goal. They get close to the goal post on the goal line and just "shoot" it in. Watti and I think it's a timing thing that they seem to have down perfectly.

But this was the most frustrating game so far in EASHL and I'll be damned if its officially the return of the cheaters.

What's funny is that it started out as a decent game, but in the 2nd period they just went into full-on cheese mode. By the end we were just wasting our time...

Glad to hear our 360 counterparts are doing well. PS3 team was tearing it up yesterday (best stretch we've ever had since I joined the team in NHL 09.)

Cheesers ARE back, and TC is right about a lot of this stuff. Other things I haven't seen happen yet...but it seems like the 360 version has more glitches/cheese goals for some reason...but I'm just going on what you guys have said.

Watch out for this cheese goal if you haven't seen it yet. Basically, a player does a left, right, left, right deke (or the other way around depending on his handedness) and he will do a pull and drag with a defender screening the goalie and it will go in. It's kind of like the pull and drag from 09, but it requires you to do a little more. It's also really easy to stop if you have a decent human defender.
