Now that I've played enough games for my grade to start counting toward my legend card I've been lucky enough to be stuck on THREE different teams that randomly pulled the goalie for no reason in OTP.

They need to fix this somehow asap. It's ridiculous to not be able to control the puck for more than 2 seconds when someone taps the LB button in front of you all the time without getting a tripping penalty at all.

Obviously, this is a good way to stop the stupid players who weave in and out like a figure skater. But it's overly frustrating when I'm trying to push the puck up the normal way or even pass it up to a forward. I am having a harder time holding onto the puck for more than 2 seconds because of people abusing this.

That's one huge gripe about online play. People always find new ways to glitch/abuse/cheese.

I think it would be a bigger problem if it were easier to retrieve loose pucks after poke checking with LB. You have to be pretty reckless to have some one check you like that and not be able to regain it before they get possession.

Now dbags in OTP... THAT'S a problem. My gripe is that there's always at least one who won't ready up or pick a position.

Just wait until it happens to you. More and more people are doing it nonstop now. Your character animation is stumbling because the person pressed the LB button in front/next to you. I've lost possession on many occasions because of the inability to pass it or stick handle it.

It's an overpowered "move" without the fear of taking any penalties at all.. The same goes for board playing yourself along the wall for a quick 1-2 seconds. If they board play them self, you can't poke check it away from them at all. That only works when you apply the board play.

It's frustrating enough for me to play defense since I don't take the cheap way out in pressing LB all the damn time. But when I get control of the puck and want to move it out of the zone, I can't seem to do anything.

I'd hate to fight cheese with cheese. But it seems everyone is doing that these days.

Ugh...got my Legend Card out of the way. Glad I don't have to worry about that anymore.

I think we're like 19-6-4 now or whatever it is.

We're not playing any different, but things are starting to go our way a little more. The only frustrating thing is that we still run into some games where the puck will go in no matter what for the other team sometimes. Those are the only ones we seem to lose, when the computer goalie can't make a damn save.

What's not different is that our opponent will almost always score on the first 2-3 shots.

What league is your team in Chartrand? Professional or Casual? We started in Casual, and switched to Professional for a few days, before just going back to Casual.

How do you join a team? I haven't done too much online with NHL 10
yet. How does it work, does everyone just play as one player/position and so on?
