Ok, so I got my HDMI cable yesterday and hooked up my PS3. I will say that Heavenly Sword is a pretty sweet looking game. Who doesn't like a half naked chick with a big sword and a bad attitude?

My question though, is why the hell does it need 2 GIGS of hard drive space just to play the freaking game? Are all the games like this? If so, my 80GB hard drive is going to be full in no time...

are you kidding me? What the hell is the PS3 doing? Installing the freaking game?

The only thing I can think of is that it's installing large portions of the game in an effort to cut down on loading times.

That's the first time I've heard of that. It must be just that game. Of all the games I own, Ratchet & Clank takes up the most space with just over 400MB. Call of Duty 4 only takes up 11MB.

Edit: I have the 60GB model. I own 7 games so far and have only used up 10-12GB. That includes game demos and movie trailers that I've downloaded. I've had the machine for exactly a year now. I think you should be ok with 80GB for a while.

Heavenly Sword does look bad ass. My only problems with the game are with the controls and with the camera angles, other than that it was fun.

OK, cool. Yeah it must have installed some of the cutscenes or something, because if it was trying to reduce loading times by putting something on the hard drive, it failed. the 2GB is also separate from the game saves, but I can't imagine those are very big.

At any rate, fun game. Chinese martial arts feel with British/New Zealand accents.

It is a cool game with great acting and storyline, but dude, you HAVE to get Uncharted, I'm totally into that game right now!!!

Also, I just downloaded the demo for Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Talk about bad ass. I think that might be my next purchase.

I'm having a blast going through Call of Duty 4 on Veteran right now. Such a kick ass effing game.

Yeah yeah. Finished Heavenly Sword a few hours ago. Pretty great game all in all. I've gotta finish Ace Combat 6 on the 360 first and then Uncharted looks like it's next. Either that or Mass Effect. We'll see.
