That's something that is up in the air. It'll be interesting to see if they can make games big enough for a 50gb disc. Of course, there are other things to consider, like quality of picture and sound. As it is right now, most PS3 games are either 720p or 1080i. Better picture quality will certainly take up more space. And it would be great to see more games go back to the way they were in the mid 90's when they would actually film real actors in the roles. Having that now in HD would be great. It's up to the developers I guess.

You are able to change out the hard drive in the PS3. 80 gigs not enough, no problem - put a bigger one in. (Instructions included in the PS3 owners manual)

That's pretty awesome actually. Slap a 500gb sucker in there and dump all my divx videos. and music.

Having played the PS3 all weekend I still think I made the right choice in going with the 360. The game I played the most was COD4 and the only thing I could think of was that the game would be perfect for the 360 controller but that could just be a familiarity thing.

At the end of the day this discussion doesn't matter. People are going to support the platform they purchased no matter what. Nobody wants to admit that they bought the worst option.

By the way, you can watch videos, listen to music and view pictures off of your computer on your tv via the 360 and Windows Media Center.

I don't think they make them that big yet. I think it's a 2.5" SATA drive. I think the biggest is 150?

So I got a ps3 today. Am I missing something or is the controller battery pack really not user swapable and the only way to charge the controller is to have it plugged into the ps3 with it turned on? If so... LAME.

It'll charge from a computer usb port as well - provided the computer is turned on. Based on my experience, the charges seem to last a pretty long time. Also, it helps if you have a second controller - play with one if the other needs charging.

Chillax Shirley, it takes a whopping 30 minutes to fully charge!!!
