Xbox or PS3?

Gears - have it on PC. Fun but Paris Hilton shallow. 1 play through type game.

Gears 2 - I wait for the PC release in a year.

Mass Effect - Have it on PC. I'm stuck in the citadel. It's BORING as hell so far.

Ace Combat 6 - who cares?

Bioshock - I'd pick it up for the PS3 in a couple of weeks if I hadn't already bought it on the PC a year ago.

Halo 3 - Already discussed, and I guarantee it'll be on PC eventually

Halo Wars - Halo sucks, who cares, and it'll be on PC

GTA 4 exclusive content. You're still playing GTA4? Quit living in the past :)

Not an impressive list, imo. And if that's all there is I'd say the games argument is nonexistant. I guess I should be glad you didn't bring up the juggernaut that is Too Human. How am I living without that epic gaming experience?

It's easy to critique all of this now as all these games have been out for a while or have yet to come out. The point is that great games, whether you like them or not, have consistently come out on the 360 and will continue to do so.

But hey, the PS3 has MSG4 right?

Arguing that the xbox doesn't have better games than the PS3 is like saying the PS3 doesn't have a better dvd player. It's idiotic. Just curious but...

I don't think he said that PS3 had better games, he just said that Dvd360 games just aren't that great. You feel me?

Also . . . I don't see any charges on my credit card for online play on my PS3. Can any X-box owners say the same?? If online games are a consideration, remember that from Microsoft, your original investment is only the beginnning.

So, you pay an annual fee to play online w/ Xbox? I didn't realize that.

Thanks for the answers folks. It seems to be a pretty split desision on the issue. PS3 MAY be in the lead out here but not by much.

I'm not wealthy enough to purchase both, so only one will have to suffice and I want to be careful on which direction I chose. This has been very helpful. Thanks again!

It's only $50 a year for the Xbox Live account - a whopping $4 a month, which is less than most of us spend on lunch. For that $50 you get FAR SUPERIOR ONLINE GAME PLAY and soon to come access to Netflix streaming movies on demand. You can also use the Xbox as a media extender on your home network, where you can play music, videos, or browse your photos from a PC.

If you want a BlueRay player - buy a stand alone unit. You can pick one up for less than $300 now.

Nothing a PS3 can't do.

Another great feature of the PS3 is it's Wireless right out of the box - no need to run network cables into your living room, or buy anything extra to make it work.

I was leaning towards xbox360.

then I saw NHL 2K9 is coming out for my Wii.

I've had GTA 4 side by side comparing with my brother in law. PS3 takes much longer to load, but much better graphics than the Xbox. We both agreed that the Xbox would freeze up in the middle of a scene alot, especially when your flying through the air on a jump.
