Thread: Xbox or PS3?

Get the 360 if you want fun gameplay.
Get the PS3 if you want a dust collector/BluRay player.

I don't know why anyone would want a BluRay player when Downloaded/Streaming HD content is the future, not silly discs and lasers.

You might want to take a deep breath before making such a bold statement. Many ISPs are starting to put monthly caps on data transfer and then charging overage fees.

Rock band is not an exclusive - it will be out for the PS3 on October 19th.

As I stated before, I don't get a lot of time to play online and so I don't consider it very much when buying a game. One reason I chose the PS3 with it's free online service.

I would have a PC regardless of which system I chose - or if I didn't have any game systems at all. So why should I ignore the fact that I can play many of the Xbox 360 "exclusives" without actually having to own an Xbox 360 - making the Xbox360 unnecessary, imo.

For the millionth time, if you have ANY desire at all to collect or watch blu-rays and play a few games get a PS3. If you want to play video games and spend hours online doing so, get a damn 360!!! Is everybody happy now???
