"Excellent" compared to their normal trade values, maybe. You're still getting screwed. There are tons of sites at which you can sell your games for much greater value, and Gamestop gives you 20% less for cash trades; this is actual money from buyers at these sites. There are also trading forums, of course.

Then there are forums which both have trading options and post deals which are often unadvertised. I don't know if linking to other sites is against forum rules, but there are several that I have tried and one forum that I've gone to for 6 years that has enabled me to get brand new games as low as $5-10 on occasion, and 90% of the time, I pay less than retail price for all new games. The ones I do pay full price for, I get $20 credit toward a future purchase at Amazon.

Basically, trading in your games to a place like Gamestop is a horrible idea.

and, more importantly, the people who put in the hard work to create and design these games actually get compensated for it.

I don't suggest trading this game in or selling it if you're bored of it.
I beat it (with 96% completion) and then didn't play it for about a month and a half. I recently popped it in and have been having a great time just ****ing people up. It is a good game to play when you don't want stress about beating anything and just wanted to kill people and their horses.

I just got to the second portion of the game with his son. I was thinking that I was near then end of the game until that happened. There are a couple of missions that I skipped for later that I just cannot get passed.
The Bank mission with the hostage. Every time I make it up stares and shoot the guy in the dark, the hostage gets killed. i have no idea what I am supposed to do. The other was a gattling gun on the back of the truck, I just keep failing at it.

You gotta go into slo-mo mode and pick all their heads off in the Bank I think. The gatling gun you have to just kick ass.

Slo-mo as soon as soon as you see the hostage, and then take out the kidnapper.

Also, don't be afraid to retry the mission after you fail. Rockstar purposefully makes missions a bit on the tough side, but if you replay the mission after a fail (not restarting) it should get easier each time you re-try it.

Makes it easier for some of us (like me) who find the missions impossible the first time through.
