Thread: YeeHaw Red Dead Redemption

Question: does every game come with a cardboard sleeve and soundtrack inside it? I got mine at EB up here and multiple other stores were sold-out early last night!

Just got an email from Amazon with my pre-order code.

The Free Roam and Posse thing with Boozehound, Wasabinuki, Dexter, Cross Traffic, Ecktore was fun! It was hilarious. Dexter needs to stop shooting the horses and then blaming it on me.. =P

This game is soooooooo fun.

I assume we're gonna posse up again tonight?

My only gripe about this game so far is that if you don't have an HDTV, you're screwed.

The text isn't small or anything, but it cuts off on my TV.

When the instructions appear on the top left corner of my screen, I can't fully see it. I'm only thankful that most of the buttons are the same as GTAIV.

For example... if it says this:
Press the Y button near a bed
to save the game. The
clock will advance 6 hours.

I'll most likely see this:
the Y button near a bed
ave the game. The
ll advance 6 hours.

Then on the lower left hand screen, I realize that I could not see my horse's stamina since it cuts off on my TV screen. No wonder I keep getting thrown off my horse because its tired. Yeah, I'm mashing the A button too much but if I can see the stamina, that wouldn't be a problem now would it?

I also can't see how much money I have on the top right hand corner either. Bummer.

In the options menu, there is an option that says "Automatically adjust to center of the screen" and that is already on. Unless there is another way to squeeze the text onto my screen, I'm going to be screwed for the most part.

Aside from that minor gripe, everything else is perfect so far.

You should try adjusting your screen size in the options menu. If possible.

oh and I have a question. I have been getting my ass kicked in Duels. I did the tutorial but totally forgot how to do it got whooped and can't find **** on how to do it now.

so I know you paint the target with RT....but then usually i get shot...cause I don't know what to do after....like how do i shoot? haha dumbest question but I have been getting ****ed up by the sae guy in like 5 duels and it is getting frustrated.

Anyone figure out what the point of money in free roam is yet?

I need to stop reading this thread.

Gamestop is your friend!! I picked up a copy yesterday for $19.99

Of course i had to trade in two games, but they were games for the Wii that I don't play anymore.
