Zelda: Skyward Sword
Put Skyrim on the shelf to start Zelda:SS a few days ago. :) It is pretty good so far and I'm 5 hours in. No dungeon or boss fight yet, but it will be soon.
The storytelling which was always good is kicked-up a few notches. Sadly not fully voiced, but the 'gibberish' sounds are different for all the characters so they 'talk'. Art style is nice but a bit like a cartoon (not fully Windwaker though).
The gold controller with the integrated MotionPlus is cool just for the regular wiimote size/ esthetics. The in-game controls are dead-on, as the MP will point your sword exactly as you hold it. Some enemies need cross slashes, other vertical, etc.

Coming-up on hour 25 and so far this may be the best Zelda. Ever. Especially If my hunches about where the story is going pan-out. GOTY candidate for sure. I'm guessing I have around 15-20 hours to go still.
The new Gadgets are still Zelda-ish and all make use of the Wii-Remote whether you are pointing, aiming, or flying your Beetle.
Oh, and the included free 25th Symphony music CD with around 40 minutes run-time is quite well-done too.

Maybe I'd get a chance to play this is GameFly would get their ish together and send me something. I really didn't think it'd be as good as people have been saying, but there's no denying the numerous reports of perfection. I'll get to it one of these days.

Glad you're having fun with this game. I thought about getting it based on all the rave reviews. The only problem is... I haven't turned on the Wii in almost 3 years, so I have zero motivation to buy this game. Maybe someday...

GameFly shipped Skyrim instead, so it looks like Zelda will have to wait for a (long) while

I have this game collecting dust right now. Haven't even put it in. I just always find myself wanting to play Skyrim more than this.

Passed hour 49 last night and the end is near. Depending on how things go, this one may be the best LOZ game ever.
-
Back for a final post to say: finished it. And yes, I do believe it is the best LOZ game. :) Overall story and ending = wow! C'mon Nintendo, we need the full OST stat.

Just started this yesterday. Had been a while since I put in any time on the Wii (gave Goldeneye re-do a few hours). Goes without saying that the gap between the Wii and 360/PS3 regarding graphics has widened, but I am not playing Skyward Sword for the graphics. Though I do think Metroid Prime Corruprion looked better and that game is a few years old.
I'm through one dungeon/boss so far and am enjoying it quite a bit. It's classic Zelda, and a nice break from the PS3/360 titles I've been playing the past couple years. There's something to be said for the style of gameplay and stroytelling that Nintendo has perfected over the years. It's predictable yet there's always enough of a wrinkle to make you smile.
I get the feeling I will spend far too much time with this game, I played through Twilight Princess twice and SS has the same appeal. But with Rage, Arkham City, Uncharted 3 and a host of other games on my shelf still waiting, I may have to finish this one up quicker that I wanted.

I actually have been playing this and honestly they've made this game perfect for the guy that only has about 1-2 hours a day to be able to play. I'm about 18 hours in, just at the third dungeon but its really fun, controls are made to come along slowly so you get used to it without having to go off and perfect skills before you can advance and the storyline so far and side quests are really good. Very pleased at the moment. Hopefully I can keep finding an hour here and there to keep the story fresh in my mind.
