Thread: 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Commemorative Star Plaza Tile - Unveiling Tanner Star

Hi friends,

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have contributed to Tanner's 2012 Stanley Cup Champion LA Kings Commemorative Star Plaza tile. My brother's Tim, and Scott, put together this project, and the response has been overwhelming. Due to this response, not only will there be a commemorative star in Tanner's name, but there will be a significant amount of money donated to Be The Match as well.

On Saturday, September 15th, at 3:30pm you are all welcome to come down to Staples Center Star Plaza to check out the new SCC Commemorative Tanner Star, and to participate in an off-season mixer/get together at the Nokia Plaza ESPN Zone. Although the Penalty Box will be closed due to a private event, Aaron Garisek (Manager/ESPN Zone) assured me that the Penalty Box menu, and beer discounts will be extended to our party. Aaron also offered to play game six, or the SCC DVD as well. So, with that being said, thank you again for graciously stepping up on behalf of Tanner, and the Tannerhead movement, over and over again, which I might add, benefits the National Marrow Donor Program, "Be The Match". We hope to see you there.

That is freaking awesome Steve. I thought this was originally scheduled for the morning hours? I have a family party to attend later that afternoon... so I'm afraid I'll have to miss out on this one. =( Don't have too much fun without me!
