Even when Felix breaks the record tomorrow, Joe's dive is still more impressive to me for the shear fact that almost everything was still "Unknown" and "Unproven" back then. It was all just numbers and hypotheses. Just amazing. Truly a large set of testis on that man. I just can't say it enough.

I overheard that it would be covered live on regular tv but I cant seem to find what channel. Id rather watch on 60" than 17". :(

Ill have to stream it live with the Roku via youtube I guess.

well it seems to, has a count down going of a bit over 2 hours and say winds at balloon top are 13 knots and 10 knots are the acceptable max.

Well that sucks. Yeah, that link is still good. Looks like the wind kicked up over the past 1.5 hours. Hopefully its just predawn blustering from the sun making its way across the desert. Its a good bet that thats what it is...between the cool night and warm air moving across.

NWS is saying the wind should die down to 'calm-5mph' out of the North by 8am local. Sounds like they had a 1, 15mph gust about 35 minutes ago.
