Thread: Anyone want to fish this summer??!

Hi all,

Some of you know that my dad suffered from a pretty severe car accident three months ago. He is starting his slow recovery from his injuries. Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers about his recovery! The lgk community is great for this.

One thing that his accident has impacted, though, is a planned fishing trip he and I were taking (with two other buddies of mine) on July 5 - 10 trip to Sitka, AK to fish salmon, halibut and one day of pulling shrimp and crab pots. This was (and will be) going to be a great trip. I have fished with the charter outfit we are using (see below) and they are like family. The trip is pretty incredible as it is all inclusive. All room and board, food on fishing days, all fishing gear and processing of fish is included. The only thing you would be responsible for is airfare, meals on days in and days out, spending money and fishing boots. They even supply rain gear.

I won't kid you. The trip is expensive but the down payment is already covered (my poor dad's deposit). If you are interested please PM me and I will give all the other gory details. Below is the charter outfit we use. Thanks.

Damn, that is on my bucket list, but I am already booked up for my summer vacations.

Dude, I so would do this if I didn't have other plans that will be eating up my vacation time.
