We have a few sticks here at our work and I was looking at this set-up to display them:
Where to purchase Hockey Stick Hangers
Looks nice, but a little pricey at $20 a piece.

Im starting to think that you guys have absolutely no f***ing clue about what Im talking about.
I dont have my sticks hanging at the moment but I do have a few of my Samoan, Tongan and Maori weapons hanging using the description I posted. I'll try to shoot off a picture later today and post it.
Short of hiring a Umpa-Loompa and having him figuring it out, the way I described is BY-FAR the easiest and cheapest way to go. If you can work a hammer and level, you can do it. If you can’t, hire the Umpa-Loompa.
You could also go to your local hardware store and see if they sell "Valance Holders" for mini-blinds...in the Blinds Section. Use what's called a "Drywall Bulldog" and push the Valance holder into it.
And when I say "tape"' I mean a piece about 1/2"X1/2".
Here's the handle portion of a Axe. I used leftover nails from a picture hanging kit to do this. As you can see, its painted the same color as the wall. This bitch weighs in at 20lbs too:
Axe's head held in place using same process. If I wasnt so lazy, Id paint those nailheads black and you'd never know the difference. Sorry about the dust. I need to get the wench on that:
Hope this leads you in the right direction...
BTW, Its a Hand carved, Ironwood, Raku fired Samoan Axe I picked up in AS back about 10 years ago. I also have a Chest Splitter and a Lady's Eye Gouger. A good Sole buddy of mine's Tama made it.

Paint your walls brown and the poo matches.
Here are the other 2 Weapons hung the same way,
Chest Splitter:
Eye Gouger:
Shangaan tribe Spears hung the same way although the way I hung them, I had to add a center bolt because the crossover pushed one away from the wall:
If you decide to crisscross the sticks, I would definately go with a professional hanging system! I bought a dozen of these spears in Mozambique and I f-ed up 3 of them trying to hang them...like a G-damn fool.
