best way to mount game used sticks to a wall?
Finally moved in to the new house. I have a few game used sticks and am looking for an inexpensive way to mount them on the wall. Any ideas? What worked for you?

If you want to hang them either perpendicular or slightly angled but perpendicular, go to the local Hardware store and buy a box either 10 or 12 penny *finish* nails, either "hot dipped Galvanized" or "Zinc". I painted the nails holding my sticks up with the wall color paint but you can also go black. Put the stick where you want it on the wall and then slightly push or tap the nails into the sheetrock just enough to go past the thickness of the stick. Like a shelf made of nails. I put at least 2 nails along the length of the shaft and one where the toe radius of the blade touches the wall. If the Toe feels like its going to swing down, add a little piece of double stick 3M foam tape to it. 3M won’t peel your wall paint or gypboard paper off when you want to move the stick, cheap crap will.
If you’re in CA, you’ll probably need to sticky tape it in more places because of the moving ground.

I usually just fling some poo on the wall and stick the hockey stick in it.

"snicker" He said mount "snicker"
On a a more serious note, I am looking to put some sticks on the wall as wall, any and all help is appreciated. I have seen several stick hanging devices that are sold on the internet, but they are rather pricey.
