Depends what part of LB. I am in neighboring Lakewood, and a few years ago Verizon built up their Fiber Optics infrastructure. They still have great deals for new customers. I pay 95 bucks a month for TV, Internet, and Phone. For TV i have the 2nd highest package. Includes 2 HD receivers, plus 1 HD DVR. Can access my DVR from any receiver. Internet speed is 50/25, but runs more like 60/30. Phone service includes unlimited nationwide, and pretty much all the goods you get on your cell. This pricing is good 2 years. Best part, only 1 cable into your house, then spiders out.

A 2-year agreement is annoying, but looks like that is the new thing that all companies are trying to do.
Must be regional because the Ultimate package on my screen here in Virginia is $77.99.

$45 is a great deal dude.

Yeah, the 2 year obligation is pretty lame but thats the nature of these things today. Direct is awesome overall and worth every penny. The 2 years goes fast.

Yea, I wish I could get Fios. Not available in my neighborhood.

I think with Direct if you change/add a receiver the two years begins anew.

Just upgraded to the Genie and yes. A few months ago I changed out a receiver and I didn't have to renew a contract.

Costs in Southern California are $77.99 for that package. They do have a good deal going on right now, but once he adds up all the other fees it will probably be about $65.00 a month in the beginning.

I have been with Directv for 11 years and I work them each time when I want a new receiver or a new package. I have the leverage on them. I received 2 genies, and 4 clients for $0.00 and the NFL package for free this year. Sure I lost all my leverage after agreeing to a new two year package but I am not going anywhere soon, I hope.

Isn't the Genie a Dish Network toy? Basically a whole house dvr?

I currently have a main HDDVR on the 60" and 5 HD receivers all on the house network. I can record all tv's to that one HDDVR. Is that the same thing?

Directv's new toy. Sounds like it.

Just did the same thing here. NFL Sunday Ticket free. New Genie and Genie mini free. All installation free. All movie channels for the next 6 months free. $30.00 off my bill. New 2 year contract kicks in when they do the install on October 5th.
