I'm sure this question has been asked numerous times so apologies for any redundancies, I ran a quick search and didn't see a super recent post so I figured I'd give it a go. Any recommendations on a solid cable & Internet package? I'm a cheap bastard so I don't need anything fancy, just fast connectivity on the web and a basic-ish cable package that includes FSW, NBCS etc.
I'm single so I won't have multiple devices bogging down the connectivity and I'll be moving to the Claremont area.

I am a fan of Verizon Fios and I believe it is available in Claremont after doing a quick google search. It will run you about $70/mo for basic tv and 15/1 internet plus fees and equipment. More $$ for higher speed and packages. I researched Fios and the tv/internet is rock solid. Billing, on the other hand, is atrocious. You have to watch your bill. Why is it when ever there is a "billing mistake", it is always in a companies favor?

X2 on FiOs, but I have never had a billing error. This is about 2 years in.

For ten bucks more you can up to something like 75 over 35. I love the Verizon package.

If you order DirecTV from Costco, you will get a $200 costco cash card in the mail. There is also a way to combine it with their refer a friend where you and whoever refers you gets $10 off/month for 10 months ($100). PM me if you want details.

Fios and Apple TV and I still get to watch all the Kings games.
