I remember as a kid, we used to live down the street from Worthington Ford there on Bellflower in Long Beach. One day we cruised by in our 1984 White Toyota Cressida station wagon (we rolled in style man) and my dad honked the horn at some of the sales guys standing outside in the lot. One of them flipped my dad off.

I still remember my dad traded in a Toyota station wagon to Worthington Dodge. Next day he gets a phone call from a person from the CHP notifying my dad that he had been killed in an accident in the same said Toyota near the Salton Sea. Seems old Cal sold it right away (by law at the time they were suppost to hold it for 5 days and transfer ownership to the dealership before selling it) and the person was killed driving it home.
Took my dad almost 20 minutes on the phone to prove that he was still alive and not the corpse in the Toyota.

Cal Worthington, We Hardly Knew Ya
I could've swore he had another 285 years left in him.
