Dick Clark passed today of a heart attack at age 82:

It's funny how we don't spend that much time thinking about people like Dick. He wasn't a "star" per say, but definitely an icon, and a true professional at whatever he did.
I think a lot of people think they can do certain things, like call out the ball dropping ceremony in Times Square, because they SEEM easy. But when the mic is on, it's not so easy. (Like calling the play for the Kings. Seems like it would be easy, but no one can do it like Bob) He was great at what he did, and he was such a nice guy.

Sucks losing him and Don Cornelius in the same year. :(

Now's as good a time as any: what happened to the dead pool that used to be here in RH? I actually signed up this year (I did NOT have Dick Clark btw)
Was it moved or tossed?
