I just saw this girl on the show NY Ink. Man, if this doesn't tug at your heart a little bit I have no idea what does. She had worn hearing aides for 29 years and had an implant put inside each ear.

Great story. Thanks for the clip. Now she just needs to get rid of all that fugly crap down her right arm there.
To each their own! Done right, I think they're sexy as all hell.Quote:

Too much change for someone in her late 30's at the time.
I know a lot of people with Cochlear Implants, and a lot of deaf people who don't even want to try them.
Nice to see how happy she was. Very touching video, thanks for sharing.
I read about this somewhere, but hadn't seen the video.
Oh, I have tats of Mitch's face all over and they are beyond SEXY! :D
I get what he's saying. Its a generational thing. Just by a few comments I could probably guess close to his age. My parents are in their late 60's and they do not like tattoos. My dad HATES them, my mom has come around on them. She doesn't like them but she doesn't hate them. I have a few and plan on getting more. They come from a era when it was armed forces thing and a biker thing. "Regular" people didn't have them. And now everyone has them.
I certainly don't share Taz's opinion but I get it.
