God, Moving blows...any tips?

I had to, it sucked balls but we hired movers and they were lifesavers.

I've moved on a holiday, but that because I had the day off, so it helps.

I didnt read thru all the posts so Im not sure if someone said this or not.... I usually move every 2-3 years cuz I get bored with the same place, but like yourself, I hate moving!! I usually go to Home Depot and grab 2-3 "workers" that stand outside. Just make sure you do all the boxing and stuff like that..So all they have to do is load it in the truck and unload it for you. I usually pay them $10 an hour and throw in lunch.
