ya seriously. honestly, unless their summer interns are like meathead frat boys, i don't really see it. these joke names sound more like the xeroxed copies of corny made up asian names my dad and his machine shop buddies used to pass around. my dad is like 60 (and asian). i bet it was some old guy at the news station who thought these were some real knee slappers. i could totally see someone who's like the dan moriarity of news doing this.

If I was that intern, I would happily take unemployment since it made air.

The greatest thing I've ever seen on the news
As an Asian man/thing, this was f'n hilarious.
One day I'll get a call from my HR and me apologizing while saying "I promise I won't say 'you can trust me I'm Asian' anymore"

People blame shift. Always have. Is it right to buck responsibility? No. Obviously it is not. Was there EVER any abundance of personal responsibility in this country though?

Statements about the U.S. in this regard with some sort of "before/after" thought caught my attention. Surely you guys don't suggest that there's an "old America" without a prevalence of people who instinctively and/or with conscious aggression, refuse self admissions of blame?
I just thought these are interesting ways to reference blame shifting. Sorry if I'm reading too much into your replies?

Gotta admit, I was cracking up this morning when it came on the radio. Had to YouTube it. F'ing amazing.
"Go **** yourselves, San Diego."

Oh man, when I read that, I was dying laughing. Everyone in my floor heard me. The best part, is that the station actually had a full screen infographic. I have to assume that someone at the station was like most of us and thought, "Fk it, let it roll. This will be awesome."
Have to appreciate the vetting by the station, and them trying to pass the buck.
