Thread: Helping the economy, the what you bought black friday/cyber monday thread

My wife's monitor took a dive, so I rolled over to Best Buy to get her a new one (bigger [27"], of course, as always happens).

My projection HDTV had become dim over the 11 years that I have had it but didn't realize it until I saw a good flat panel TV. I thought it was time to get a new 65 inch Panasonic Plasma TV.

I am not a big Xbox gamer but I decided to buy COD: Black Ops 2 with a year subscription to Xbox live. I probably did this because of the holidays. I still haven't finished COD: Black Ops. I only play maybe a couple hours a month but felt compelled to buy these things.

Got a Canon Powershot S100 for pocket use. Got a scale that has wifi and charts your weight loss (inspirational purchase). Lemme see... a new shaver. some rechargable batteries, a new set of pots and pans. Maybe a few other nick-nacks. I have been checking Amazon's sales every few minutes and got most of the stuff on lightning deals.

I can't believe I've been using the wii fit for this for over 3 years now. It's damned depressing to watch the weight yo-yo. Good news is I'm on the down cycle
