    Default How did you all do in the Charity Poker Tourney last night?

    I won my first table, but couldn't get back to the final table this year as I lost at my second table. Ah well.

    Anyone here at LGK go on a good run last night? Have any fun stories to tell?

    I wrote this recap, mostly about an exchange with Patrick O'Neal, cool dude.

    If you haven't gone the last two years, I highly recommend checking it out next year! Lots of beginners so no need to fret about that if you are one too, and the crazy structure makes it pretty much just come down to luck anyway; but it is fun to meet and hang out with the broadcast team and alum. I had former Ducks d-man Jason Marshall at my table this year, nice guy!

    KT only gets called by a better hand, all worse hands fold. Unless the pot was big, let it go.*

    It was a decent pot, 1600 in there. I only had 1300 left (just three big blinds, w/ five players left, going up to 400/800 next), was pushing on any K or 10 after that flop. Was obviously hoping for folds around, and knew I was probably beat when I got a call... but I *could* get called there by an Ac or Qc chasing the flush. No such luck.

    In any case, thanks for reading! And I'm sure you know more than jack****, your assessment of the situation isn't far off... I was just up against it, had to make a move sometime.
