For tose of us not going to Vegas, how are you celebrating Carmageddon? I need ideas.

I work late in the Valley and will drive home on Sepulveda Friday Night. Just like the last time when I get back on the 405 @ Sunset no one will be on it and I get the freeway all to myself for a few miles, it will be awesome!

Wonder why the media makes a big deal out of this closure and ignores the almost nightly closures of the 405 between the 22 and 605, or things like a 2 week closures of the 405/605 interchanges.

The west side is special. We should all know that.

We ALL need to know what happens at the 405/10 - even if you live in Lancaster, Glendora, Brea, Anaheim or Huntington Beach. Geez, the fwy signs in Brea and Orange have been flashing this news for several weeks already.

I drive this stretch of 405 fwy maybe 2x a year. Thanks for the heads up Caltrans!
