3 I think lesgardiens should be inducted into the LGK HOF this year. Who do you think should be inducted and why?

    1. If you're willing to pay me in Jack Daniels, I'll be there by 10:00 a.m with shovels, a snowplow, and other tools. And if it seems weird that someone living in a non snow zone would have such things, well, that's because I always like to be prepared, hence the extra wazoo that I carry just in case. :D

    2. I don't watch Encore Western on Saturday mornings. :P Still, I do enjoy a good Western. I don't know how many times I watched Stagecoach because so many of my school teachers grew up John Wayne. A good John Ford/John Wayne Western hits the spot and it allows me imagine what it was like back then, and by that, I don't mean the Western era, but the first half of the 20th century when movie Westerns were in their golden era. Hahaha! Maybe, I should watch Westerns on Saturday mornings. :P

    3. Yes. I have a hard time answering this question because I don't know who else would be eligible on top of my head. But hey, I am a potential candidate, beyond dark horse I know, but one can dream, no?

    1. A good thing that happened today?

    2. If would place a personal ad, hahaha, what would the opening line be?

    3. Something that a lot of people around you seem to know about that you are clueless in? Something that you know a lot that others around do don't?

    1. It snowed, I love the snow. And my son and grand daughter came over to watch the game with me. (yesterday)

2.No idea. Sold a truck once in a newspaper ad, I think it started out 1988 F-250, 4x4, detroit lockers, 460 ci, Single cab, long bed.

3.Tech stuff. I don't really give a flying **** about. I know a lot about things that really matter.

    1. Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

    2. Do you go out and shop the day/weekend after Thanksgiving?

    3. Are you staying home for the upcoming holidays? (this includes the whole famn damily coming to your place for them). or Is this time of the year generally a huge pain in the ass?

    1. yep. i probably have about 1/3 of the gifts i need to get already.
    2. hell no. i hate crowds, especially shopping in crowds, because i can't think and i like to put a lot of thought into the gifts i get people.
    3. it looks like i will be doing thanksgiving with just my husband and daughter. normally, we do it with our parents, but they have had a lot of health problems in the last couple years so it's hard to get everyone together. i'm actually pretty sad about it even though it can be a little stressful, but we'll make do. i'm not sure what's going to happen on christmas. we normally spend that with my in-laws but my MIL is in the icu following a cancer operation so that holiday is up in the air right now.

    1. what are you eating for thanksgiving this year? (ie. what do you or your family make that you like to eat?)
    2. what do you like on your pizza?
    3. have you ever been around some friends who went overboard with the PDA and did you say anything or did you just sit there and squirm uncomfortably as they molested each other in front of you?

we are having Chucker and Pheasant. The wife cooks it on a bed of wild rice in the dutch ovens. I don't know what she may "stuff" them with as it always varies from apples to just sprigs of thyme and or rosemary. And yes, I brought the chuckers and pheasants home. I know, I'm a brute.

anything but anchovies, and I don't care for anything from the California Pizza Kitchen.

I'm kind of old so it wasn't my friends, but I have told a few people doing PDA to go get a room. (FBJ explained what PDA meant)

    Are you digging DST?

who does the domestic chores in the house, you, your spouse, or do you pretty much equally divide them?

my attic is insulated to R-46, do I need more?

As I am also in the 60+ category, an explanation of this acronym would be enlightening.

    1) Turkey, at the inlaws. which is probably good because usually spend the time badgering everyone to eat the mashed potatoes so I can bogart the turkey for sammiches the next day. Also candied yams, I only have like a spoonful but I love em every year.
    2) I like chicago style green bell pepper sausage and mushroom. otherwise if new york style just cheese
    3) yeah high school pda (Public displays of affection) was pretty bad, worse was sharing a room with my brother. His girlfriend would "sleep" over sometimes. Yeah that sucked.

    1) stuff the turkey or cook separate?
    2) bag or tent the turkey?
    3) cranberrys in a can? yeah or nay?

that is correct! i only ask because we have a good friend who did that with his gf (now wife) the day he introduced us to her. they couldn't keep their hands off each other and they were in their 30s. i'm no prude, but c'mon, at the pub while we're hanging out during the day and catching up on old times? just stay home and make out if that's what you really want to do.

    1. i always cook separately. i like my stuffing to have a crisp top and don't want to figure out the science of timing the bird and stuffing to cook to proper doneness without undercooking or overcooking one or the other.
    2. tent in my roasting pan. not fond of cooking in bags.
    3. NO. i make fresh cranberry pear relish.

i'll use x's questions since they got skipped over and i don't know the answer to #3.
